[silva-dev] silva-1.2.2 for tiger

dear list members

i have released the first release candidate of the macosx installer  
for silva-1.2.2 for macosx 10.4 (tiger, gcc-4.0). this is not the  
final version because there are still some known issues:

libxml/libxslt:
i'm not sure if the installation works on 10.3 (panther) because  
there are dependencies with the system libraries of the libxml/ 
libxslt libraries (/usr/lib/libxml2.2.dylib, /usr/lib/libxslt. 
1.dylib). i was not able to compile libxml-2.6.19 because of some  
incompatibility with the system libraries. therefore, i reverted back  
to libxml-2.6.16 (this is the version which is installed on tiger)  
and only installed the python module. if someone can enlighten me  
about how to install something without picking up system libraries i  
could include the complete libxml-2.6.19 into the installer and could  
remove this dependency.

python-ldap:
i did not install python-ldap. compilation was not a problem but  
there were runtime errors which i could not resolve yet.

Silva-1.2.2rc1-MacOSX10.4.pkg.tgz (19.1 mb). the content of http:// 
www.zope.org/Members/mpetit will be updated possibly tomorrow (it's  
just such a pain to maintain these pages without kupu).
