Strange, I thought I'd installed a version of the docs which didn't have
this problem, but it's definitely there (or rather on the Web) in the latest
version. That image _should_ be updated.
The patch is rather minimal, but reasonably effective and doesn't lose you
anything: it just stops Image.py choking when it tries to create a thumbnail
(which wouldn't be used anyway, in this case) of an interlaced PNG that
it (or rather PIL) can't read. (As far as I can tell, the public release
of PIL isn't likley to get support for interlaced PNGs any time soon.)
