[silva-dev] Link to internal anchor

Dear Developers

Since Silva 1.3 index items are rendered differently  in order to 
generate  XHTML-compliant code (see issue 1150). However,  some people 
use index items as internal anchors (a customer of mime uses this 
technique quite heavily). I am a little bit worried if the links to the 
newly rendered anchors will still work after an upgrade to Silva 1.3. I 
have to admit that I have not tested this yet. But reading UPGRADE.txt 
and looking at the code I could not find any hint that links to index 
item anchor points will be upgraded correctly. Maybe someone can tell me 
if these links will be upgraded without having do a lot of testing.

Probably using index items as anchors is problematic, as the intended 
use of index items is the automatic generation of an index page (see 
issue 1170 (https://infrae.com/issue/silva/issue1150) and [silva-dev] 
http://infrae.com/mailman_/pipermail/silva-dev/2005q4/001645.html.

Should there be a new issue for the upgrading of links or should it be 
added to issue 1150?
