[silva-dev] getMetadataValue optionally acquires?

Hey Nico,

Thanks for the suggestion.  I didn't know that acquisition could be disabled 
for a metadata element.  

I suppose this is the practice recommended by Infrae.  I do think the api 
should be updated with my patch; it is very simple and harmless after all.  
We are using content-description, and would like to leverage it's use in both 
the html <head> as well as this specific use case in the gallery.  We can set 
a description for a site and have it appear in every document's <head> within 
the site.  Sounds like I have to disable this feature (acquisition) in order 
to get the functionality in the gallery that I want.  Or just use a custom 
metadata set on images.
