Hi João,
The short answer is: no. Silva does not allow pure presentation elements
in its content, in which it follows much of the current thinking about
web content: store only semantic information and derive the layout from
that through the use of css.
Silva was built to be used in large organisations, with many, many
authors working on the content. This means it has to be strict in what
it allows in documents to make any sort of site wide (or publication
wide: Silva is also used to create content for dead-tree media)
consistent layout possible. If authors can change fonts, font sizes and
colors, they may make very pretty individual documents, but chances are
the site as a whole will start to look a mess.
Having said that, you could follow the tips in my previous mail, and add
the support yourself, but this will be quite some work.
